Finished Orientation!!!!!

Praise JESUS, we're finally finished with hospital orientation. We'll be starting in our designated areas tomorrow. Should be interesting since...

1. We'll be on days.
B. We have YET to take the subway/bus to work
3. We've had one LONG week.

And, let me just say, drivers here drive like total LOONIES! Its like no one cares about the lanes, other drivers, people, parked cars, etc. I swear, I almost shart every time we go to work. Seriously. But, we'll see what tomorrow holds.

Day 1 Montefiore

Well, we survived our first "12 hour" testing day at Monte. 12 hours meaning 2 hours, lol. Adrian and I both passed all our tests, so we will officially be here at least 2 months. I was pretty nrevous tho. The test had a ton of dosage calc on it, and I suck at math. No biggie now tho! http://www.montefiore.org/services/coe/pediatrics/

Then we ventured out to the harbor and found a really cool little Irish pub, with a happy hour! The people were nice and I honestly think we were the first people from OK to ever step foot in there! Lol!

 Tomorrow we have more general orientation and computer stuff,so it should be a longer day. We'll see!! I am starting to miss Mooch, my family for sure, DVR, and Wal-Mart :)

Central Park & Times Square!

This is outside our hotel, prior to our day out and about all over Times Square, Central Park and everywhere between. I don't know HOW people in New York have good hair. It was so windy today. That being said, I'm sad to say that I will have to start to increasing my "hair washing day" significantly. My hair will never be the same. I'm having a blast thus far and I miss you guys a ton!!

New Rochelle

Ok.I thought that updating this would be easier than emailing every day or two, so lets see how this goes :) So we made it to New Rochelle and its actually a pretty cool place. There's a Mexican food place, Applebee's, and Buffalo Wild Wings right here! The grocery store and post office are around the corner and the hotel people are really nice. AND we get free breakfast every day!!! Tomorrow morning we are going to NYC to go shopping and then to Central Park. I'm super excited! I'll upload pics tomorrow for sure. Night night!!
